Whether you’re looking for a classic breakfast spot, a buffet for a special event, or a local favorite, you’ll find it in Branson. One standout among the food places in Branson is Billy Bob’s Dairyland, a true gem for anyone seeking an authentic taste of Americana.

About Billy Bob’s Dairyland

Billy Bob’s Dairyland is a beloved Branson institution! If you grew up in a small town, you’ll recognize this throwback to classic burger joints from the past; if you’re younger, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped onto the set of an old TV show. Located in the heart of Branson, this no-frills diner serves up great burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and ice cream. The restaurant first opened in the 1960s, near where Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater stands today. In 1990, it was purchased by the original Billy Bob, who later sold it to the current owners, Don and Nancy Gibson, in 2000. In 2006, Billy Bob’s moved to its current location beside the Phillips 66 EZ Center, and in 2018, it became a standalone restaurant. The Gibson family continues to uphold the tradition of serving hearty, good food with a side of friendly service.

The Menu at Billy Bob’s Dairyland

The burgers at Billy Bob’s are the stars of the show, available with or without cheese, served in a basket with crispy fries, and even doubled for a hearty appetite. Other menu favorites include a classic BLT, delicious foot-long or regular hot dogs, and a southern favorite—Frito pie. Sides like onion rings, fries, and potato salad round out the meal, and you can satisfy your sweet tooth with soft-serve or hand-dipped ice cream, sundaes, or warm cobbler. The food is delicious, but it’s the service that really sets Billy Bob’s apart. It’s no wonder the restaurant was featured on Al Roker’s Food Network program and recommended by locals and Branson stars alike.

Billy Bob’s Dairyland offers a taste of 1950s Americana, and it’s a must-visit on your next Branson trip. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, make sure to stop by and try their famous favorites!
